My love of glass as an artform began approximately 30 years ago when I enrolled in a stained glass course. For many years, I sold my work in galleries and shops, and creating custom pieces for clients homes, including panels, lamps, and mirrors.
Ten years ago, I needed a change creatively, and also wanted a break from the toxic chemicals associated with stained glass work. I purchased a kiln, attended more classes, and began to extensively research the alchemy of glass fusing.
My jewellery and accessories are created with colourful dichroic and art glass. I practice many different types of etching and layering techniques, creating beautiful, unique, wearable art. I strive to challenge myself and grow as an artist by continually experimenting with glass and learning new techniques. Each piece is handmade in my home studio.
